This is one of my favorite prints. It is printed from a cut of wood from an old growth pine that had fallen in Millcreek Canyon, just east of Salt Lake City in Utah.
This print shows the resilience of the tree. You can clearly see how the original branch had grown and died and a secondary growth had continued to grow and envelope the dead portion.
As an artist, my purpose is to reveal the artistry that exists in nature and to present it in a way that is accessible enough to hang on a wall in your home. I also want to bring our attention to our impact on the landscapes that surround us. These tree ring prints help us see our place in a much larger historical context and hopefully each ring makes us reflect on the limited time that we have in this beautiful landscape.
All prints are made by hand using the traditional woodblock method.

Very beautiful! The ink is textured, but I hadn't anticipated how small the tree rings were. They were on a very large paper and it seems a little off place. I might have my framing people trim it down but I would hate to change it so permanently. Still beautiful!!

The prints arrived quickly (within 1-2 weeks of purchase), and came well packaged in a durable poster tube. The prints themselves are gorgeous. Well-centered, and all the details are visible and clean. The paper is high quality, and did not arrive with dents or wrinkles. Love the artist, the story behind the work, as well as the prints themselves. Thank you so much!

Print is great quality! There were some minor creases in the print as a result of shipping. I contacted the seller and they were extremely fast to respond and send me a replacement for free. Highly recommended!
