Minor Redactions is a minimalist, textural monoprint created using vintage letterpress type, where language is stripped of meaning and rebuilt as pattern.

A dense field of vertical forms—built from hundreds of individual type pieces—fills the composition like a compressed archive, a coded document, or a wall of erased text. The deep green ink reads as both organic and industrial, evoking forest canopy, weathered wood, or an urban grid seen from above. Thin channels of white negative space cut through the surface like fractures, streets, or missing lines—suggesting interruption, deletion, and absence.

The title, Minor Redactions, reframes the work as a quiet act of censorship: not dramatic black bars, but subtle removals—small omissions that reshape what remains.
